Grave Hand by Susan Parry

It does look as though there is a theme going on with my reading at the moment.  I have just finished reading "Grave Hand" which was set around the Ribblehead Viaduct.  This was interesting to me as some of my dad's family are from that area.  I spent a day a couple of years ago travelling around photographing a lot of the churches.  One that I called into was St Leonard's Chapel, Chapel le Dale which is mentioned in this book.  There was a christening taking place at the time so I wasn't able to wander round and look at everything.

So the book itself - this is the third book in the Yorkshire Dales Mysteries by Susan Parry.   The main character  Mills (we met her as Millie in the previous books) is a student archaeologist and is involved with the investigation when a hand is found near the Ribblehead viaduct - the question is whether the hand is from  the Iron Age, from the time when the railway was being built or from a more recent crime.
I enjoyed the book and am looking forward to reading the next one in the series.
